Shipping and Receiving

 

The Facilities Team is responsible for the receiving and distributing Bigstep.com mail. It is our responsibility to ensure that all US Postal Service mail, any FedEx, and/or couriered items are sent out and received safely and soundly.

United States Postal Service

Outgoing Mail can be placed in the bin on the 5th floor reception desk.  Mail at the reception desk is picked up daily by the mail carrier.  The Receptionist will meter any business related mailings.

 

Priority Mail envelopes can be found on the 5th floor in the copy area.  Priority Mail stamps for business related mail can be obtained from the receptionist.

 

Stamps can be purchased for personal mail at Reception.  Please remember to have exact change or bills of small denominations. 

 

The nearest post office is at 23rd and South Van Ness.

 

There is also a private postal shop at 3288 21st Street between Valencia and Mission called The Mail Carrier at. The Mail Carrier has all the services of a post office, plus it serves as a FedEx drop off location.  

FedEx 

All FedEx supplies can be found in the 5th floor copy area including; air bills, envelopes, and boxes.

 

Please fill out the air bill in its entirety and place it in or near the bin on the 5th floor reception desk.

 

Bigstep.com has a daily FedEx pick-up so please DO NOT call to schedule your own pick-up.  All FedEx packages must be at reception by 3pm, if you want them to go out that day.

 

If you miss the 3pm deadline there are drop off locations at

  • 2525 Missions Street (between 21st and 22nd)
  • 3288 21st Street (between Mission and Valencia)   

Courier 

If you need to have something couriered, please have it ready (packaged and clearly labeled) and place it on reception desk with a clearly written address.  Also, you will need to E-mail the receptionist in advance so she can call the service.
