Here's some info to help make your move smooth & successful...
Your manager will have your seating location- please direct any questions about seating to them.
We will provide boxes & dollies in order to help you move. Here is a list of stuff you are responsible for moving:
  • Computer (and all its components)
  • Phone
  • Chair
  • Trashcan
  • Personal belongings
Phone Issues
  • In order to not lose any incoming calls while your phone is down, you will need to forward your lines to voicemail (not just DND). To do this, get a dial tone/ select FWD/ dial 8690/ hang up. If your phone line is blinking, you've successfully forwarded your calls to the company voicemail.
  • When you unplug your phone, note the jack # it was in (example: 5-046v.1). When you get to your new location, plug your phone into a phone jack near your desk. Make a note of that jack #, get the Telco Request Form, fill it out and e-mail it back to telco@bigstep.net.
  • To take your calls off fwd, press the FWD button. If the light is no longer blinking, you've successfully stopped your calls from being forwarded.
Lastly, please be courteous to the next occupant & clean up after yourself (all misc. papers, toys, etc should be cleared out).
Please let Helpdesk know if you have questions regarding this move.
