HOLIDAY SHIPPING & RECEIVING

This page is a supplement to the regular Shipping and Receiving page.

We know it’s convenient to have your holiday purchases/gifts delivered to your workplace and we’d like to help you. But as you can tell…we don’t have a shipping/ receiving area, so we need your help & cooperation.

Please review these guidelines so that you understand what the expectations are for the season that’s just around the corner:


Outgoing mail/ Fed Ex packages

v      We will continue to sell stamps for your personal mail. They can be obtained from the receptionist.  Please bring exact change.

v      Fed Ex:

o        Bigstep cannot allow any personal shipping of packages on our account. However, here are some options for you:

1.       We will have blank shipping air bills that you may use. You will need to write in your credit card number on these air bills in order to ship. There is an additional $3 service/ pick up charge for these packages. You should also note that Bigstep.com will not be responsible for tracking the package. 

2.       You may also utilize our neighborhood mailing centers, located at:

2525 Missions Street (between 21st and 22nd)

3288 21st Street (between Mission and Valencia)   

v      We do not have a UPS account.

 

Incoming mail/ packages

v      Your mail will continue to be delivered to your mailbox.

v      You will be emailed when a package arrives for you.

v      You must pick it up from reception within 1 hour of notice. 

All packages that are not picked up within the hour will be moved into storage. 
You can pick up your packages from storage in room 709 from 4:00 to 4:15 from Mario.
Otherwise you will need to make arrangements with Facilities to get your boxes out of storage.

v      Packages must be kept at your desk until you take them home. 

v      Any cardboard from any boxes must be broken down & disposed of in the cardboard recycling area on the 5th floor, west balcony.
