Many features were added and many bugs were fixed in revision 1 of the New Hire Form.
- The Business Cards' bug which in certain cases contained the value yes when it was actually false was fixed.
- The problems with entering the start date were fixed. Drop down menus for month, day, and year replace the start date single textbox.
- In addition, the check method to determine whether a start date was valid was refined.
- A 'form submitted page' was added to alert users that the form had been submitted. This reduces the duplicate entries from individuals clicking the submit button more than once. This improvement was accomplished by creating a HTML frameset. Clicking on the Submit button of the New Hire Form passes the values of the form to form values of a 'hidden' HTML page in the frameset. This form is then submitted and confirmation data is written to the new hire frame using JavaScript.
- The CC email address field and coding was fixed.
- Added a 'No Computer Needed' option to the Computer Type menu.
