Most people don't know that: I often to lie to people when they ask me for information that they don't need and are likely to forget. For instance, at a sandwich shop, when the fellow behind the counter asks me what my name is, I'm likely to answer "Stan" or "Gilgamesh". Sometimes I also like to make up useless facts that sound plausible, and insert them into dead spots in conversation. I love it when folks say "Really!", at which point I reply "No, silly, I just made that up." One of my favorite bits is to try and convince people that Steve Jobs is colorblind. Of course, it's very possible that Steve Jobs IS colorblind, and I am just the first person to pick up on the many clues...
